The ISBN assignment service is available exclusively to the Instituto Superior Técnico academic community, providing a fast and simple way to obtain an ISBN code by completing a form.

This service is subject to a fee, payable via IST internal requisition. The cost of each ISBN is €25 (twenty-five euros).

To request an ISBN, fill out the ISBN Assignment Service Form to initiate the process. Please ensure that all information is accurate, as it will be forwarded to APEL (Portuguese Publishers and Booksellers Association) and cannot be modified later.
