The ISBN assignment service is available exclusively to the IST academic community, providing a fast and simple way to obtain an ISBN number by completing a form.

This service is subject to a fee, payable via internal requisition. The cost of each ISBN is €25 (twenty-five euros).

To request an ISBN, fill out the ISBN Assignment Service Form to initiate the process. Please ensure that all information is accurate, as it will be forwarded to APEL (Portuguese Publishers and Booksellers Association) and cannot be modified later.
